Hello everyone!

I haven’t updated this section for quite a while. Since moving here at the start of 2024 for my spouse’s academic position, I’ve been working independently from home, self-funded and self-directed. I’m writing this note just a few days before leaving, first and foremost as a reminder to myself.

Although we often wish to align personal growth with professional progress, circumstances don’t always allow this balance. Sometimes the gap is a result of choice, sometimes coincidence, and at times, life simply puts us to the test. I believe learning to adapt — without resistance or complaint — is a key part of personal growth.

Throughout 2024, while working independently, I had the chance to explore many new things beyond Dutch (wise choice!). I also finally dedicated time to philosophy, a long-standing personal interest. Since the last quarter of the year, I’ve even begun writing basic writings and essays, which I hope to compile one day.

During this period, I also got some valuable life lessons in the Netherlands, which I am quite sure I will always remember them :) I’m getting ready to return to work more actively — looking forward to sharing updates with you soon!
